Ellen Cristina Souza Teixeira
PT, DPT, NCS, ABI-VRC
Senior Physical Therapist — Neurologic & Vestibular Rehabilitation

A Passion for Neurological Recovery
With over 20 years dedicated exclusively to neurological and vestibular rehabilitation, Dr. Ellen Teixeira has helped hundreds of patients reclaim their independence, mobility, and quality of life. Originally from Brazil, she built her career across two countries before founding Vitality Neuro Rehab in the Orlando area — to serve a diverse, multilingual community with the highest standard of specialized neurological care.
Dr. Ellen holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a perfect 4.0 GPA from The College of St. Scholastica, and is one of the few clinicians in the region to hold the prestigious Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) credential — held by less than 4% of physical therapists in the U.S.
She specializes in complex conditions including stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and vestibular disorders — using advanced technology including the NeuroCom Balance Master and OMNIAX rotational chair for precise, individualized care.
Treatment Philosophy
"I believe every patient's nervous system has the capacity to change. Through neuroplasticity-driven, evidence-based therapy — delivered with compassion and consistency — real recovery is possible, no matter where you are in your journey."
